New blog

Hi there. This is my second blog and unlike my first Blog (Sakura and kimono days) this blog will be more of a diary of sorts. I will post pics and stuff that i'm trying/doing in my every day life, some will have to do with kimono, some will not. My blog will cover cooking, sewing, books and what ever i feel the need to talk about.

First i may as well tell you a bit about myself. My name is Shannon. My hobbies include cooking, sewing, reading, playing video games, and the collecting and wearing of kimono. Its an interesting set of hobbies, no?

 My favorite books are "tricksters Choice" and its sequel "Tricksters Queen" both are by Tamora Pierce. My favorite videogame franchise is Harvest moon (which includes Rune Factory as well). My favorite color is purple.

As for my kimono hobby, i have 15 of the actual Kimono, around 12 obi, and countless little nick-nacks and accesories.
well that seems like enough of an intro for now.

As for some thing intersting: Today my father and I whent to a restraunt for breakfast. Just as we were about to pay we hear a loud crash from the kitchen. For about a slit second we want to cringe in sympathy but stopped when we heard a woman yell "OPPA!" (or how ever you spell that greek word they yell when they break a plate at a wedding).
